Maggie, there are bidet showers as well that you can get connected to the bowl. Though they have strict regulations of installations and need some sort of mechanism so they don't intake water in the opposite direction to the water tank, accidently.
I have never seen these in Australia, nor New York, Hong Kong, Macau, London, Tokyo or Seoul (those are the only places I've ever been to). But apparently they are more common than I thought!
We all need some darkness in our lives in order to appreciate the warmth of the light.
Life should be simple, but it isn't. So please don't take everything too seriously.
