"This is not how the world ends"

So many natural disasters lately, Nepal taking the biggest hit.  Hope all our readers are safe and sound!

In other news, a friendly reminder that it's Free Comic Book Day this Saturday, 2nd of May!  Check out your local bookstore to see if they have any events on. :)  Most of them usually have free comics, cosplays and discounts.

(Marvel fans may notice the quote in the title of this comic. ^^
It's from the S.H.I.E.L.D comic series by David Hickman and Dustin Weaver.)

Property Hunting (Part 3 - Facing the Finale)

Buying can become quite stressful. There are so many things to consider, and you need to get your numbers right, or at least have a backup plan.

No doubt many people would be going through this thinking process in the current market.

Property Hunting (Part 2 - The Perception of Quality)

I used to have a set criteria list for my ideal property.  But as the hunting goes on, you'll find it's almost impossible to match both your budget and criteria together.
(Unless you already have millions to spend and your only criteria was "penthouse in the middle of the CBD with ocean views"...)

So I notice I'm making a lot of sacrifices and watching the budget closely.  Which is kind of sad, because house hunting is pretty serious stuff - you expect to live there for a long time, and with a mortgage, it's a long-term commitment!  :(

Property Hunting (Part 1 - The Perception of Value)

This is my part 1 of my property hunting experience.  Sydney property prices are going up like crazy and it's extremely competitive - on average there's around 20 or more people at each inspection.

Seems to be getting more futile to be able to afford anything on the market now...
